Andrea approaches marketing as more than a sovereign activity to garner more visibility for a company. She sees marketing as an integrated effort that begins with understanding and articulating your why, establishing a purposeful direction for your business, creating a culture to which your team is invested, and cultivating outstanding relationships with your customers. As Mac Zen’s Marketing Coordinator, she oversees and coordinates cohesive brand messaging throughout our communications.

In 1999, Andrea launched her career in business development at a different “MAC”. In the competitive world of retail cosmetics, she led her teams to record-breaking increases in sales by training her staff in the art of customer service based in empathic communication.

After 10 years, she was recruited to consult Victoria businesses to develop and standardize operations, leadership, customer service, branding, and marketing. Andrea has worked with leaders in IT, interior design, real estate, health care, fitness, and finance. She has used her passion for storytelling to help her clients achieve media recognition such as Douglas Magazine’s 10 to Watch.

Andrea defines her mission as: “To live my life so that the light inside of me ignites the light inside of others.” She teaches public, private, and corporate yoga classes, and mentors teachers in advanced teacher training programs. She also teaches workshops and courses to entrepreneurs - including yoga teachers – to understand their why and broadcast their voices confidently.

In her in-between time, Andrea loves dancing, hiking, cycling, paddling, cooking, traveling to intriguing places (in the pages of a book or on her own two feet), decorating beautiful spaces, and getting all dressed up for no reason at all.
