Service Rates & Availability

• Mac Zen reserves the right to charge a 50% cancellation fee with less than 24 hours notice.

Payment

• Interac e-Transfer, Cheque, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and cash are acceptable forms of payment.
• Instructions for e-Transfers will be provided in the email accompanying your invoice.
• All Invoices are payable on completion of services.
• Please make cheques payable to "Mac Zen Consulting".
• Corporate accounts only will be given standard 7 days terms unless otherwise agreed upon.
 

Estimates

At your request, an estimate will be provided to complete the task required. Wherever possible, extenuating circumstances will be advised upon and a new estimate to complete provided.

Availability

Please call to set up an appointment and enquire about availabilty. Are general hours of service are between 9am and 8pm Monday through Thursday, 9am and 5pm Friday. We also have limited availability on Satudays and Sundays between 10am and 5pm.

Service Area Zones

Mac Zen provides on-site service to the entire Capital Regional District. Outside of Victoria, Oak Bay, Esquimalt,and Saanich, the following travel times will be added to your invoice. Please see the service area

Residential (30 Minutes @ $150 / hour)

Zone C (Blue)

Corporate (30 Minutes @ $175 / hour)

Residential (1 Hour @ $150 / hour)

Terms of Service

Please make sure that you have original discs and serial numbers available prior to an in-home visit or remote support session. If you do not have original discs and serial numbers that belong to you, it may not be possible to rectify problems you are having without purchasing new software. Mac Zen will not install, source, or provide pirated serial numbers for paid software.

Whenever possible, it is highly advisable to maintain a reliable backup of your data. Some on-site tasks require that a backup be available. Mac Zen will not accept liability for any system maintenance performed without a complete backup. Mac Zen reserves the right to backup critical data prior to performing any maintenance on your equipment, and will bill for time accordingly.
